Safety Tips for Buyers & Sellers
🚨 CRITICAL SAFETY RULE:
NEVER send money to anyone without meeting the person in person first and seeing the item. Scammers often ask for deposits or payments before showing the item.
🛡️ For Buyers
- Inspect before you pay - Always examine the item in person before handing over money
- Meet in safe, public places - Police station parking lots, shopping malls, or busy cafes
- Bring a friend - Never meet alone for high-value items
- Trust your instincts - If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is
- Use cash for local deals - Avoid wire transfers, gift cards, or unknown payment apps
- Verify the item works - Test electronics, start cars, inspect thoroughly
🛡️ For Sellers
- Meet in public places - Avoid inviting strangers to your home
- Cash is king - Accept cash for in-person transactions when possible
- Don't ship before payment - Get full payment before sending any item
- Be wary of overpayment scams - Someone sends too much and asks for a refund
- Document your item - Take photos and note serial numbers before sale
🚩 Red Flags to Watch For
- Buyer wants to pay with a cashier's check or money order
- Someone asks for your banking information
- Pressure to complete the deal quickly
- Vague answers about the item's condition
- Requests to communicate outside of Bazeri messaging
- Asking for a deposit or "holding fee" before you see the item
📱 How to Report a Problem
If you encounter a suspicious user or listing:

⚠️ Remember:
NEVER send money via Western Union, MoneyGram, bank transfer, or gift cards to someone you haven't met in person. Legitimate sellers will always let you see the item before asking for payment.
